Sound of an automatic rifle from a distance. Made by my secret ways of making sounds.

This is essentially a bass guitar with distortion with three layers of notes, merged together to make a "siren" of sorts. It can be used as a fire alarm, or maybe an alarm on a spaceship or ufo.

A mixture of heavy and light bursts of machine gun fire created through compiling, mixing and processing multiple audio files to create the desired result of rapid bursts. Mixdown is in stereo, making use of spatial panning and volume adjustments.

A space-ship laser firing sound with a retro-y 8-bit effect. My work, feel free to use in any way however you'd like. To make this, i used a synth in cubase to get the basic laser sound, then exported to garageband where i applied and tweaked the bitcrusher effect to give it the 8-bit effect.

This is a file that uses multiple files from this website put into one. I wanted to make a semi realistic gunfight and found a few clips to use. There is a lot of gunfire in the beginning. A quarter or halfway through the audio, the gunfire peters out to a few weapons and background noise firing with the occasional sniper fire.

A parisian fire truck passes about 150 feet away and briefly turns on its siren to make sure nobody overlooks it. Emergency vehicles in france have either two-tone or three-tone sirens. Vehicles to which one must yield the right of way, such as fire trucks, use the two-tone siren. The three-tone siren (not on this recording) is used for vehicles that do not require drivers to yield but should still be given some priority. Recorded with a zoom h4n hand-held, stereo 96 khz / 24 bits, built-in mics, about 150 feet away from the passing truck.

I recorded people blowing up fireworks in my neighborhood last night with a zoom 6 using the stereo mics. Then i isolated individual sounds and tweaked the eq some in adobe audition, then ran those sounds back-to-back to make these "machine gun" sounds. Let me know what you think? (i might try making some more versions of these).

Raw recording of the fireplace with some logs burning and crackling. Unfortunately the metal making up the insert was expanding and contracting, and some of those noises are present as well. Making a concert snare drum do a roll(style of playing a note) at high speeds with a massage gun at its highest speed (could be interpreted as an a-10 minigun 30mm).

Used audacity to make a chirp sound, i think it's sine-sawtooth. Pretty easy thing. Nothing to lose from it being mp3. It's a pretty dirtily made sound.

Minigun firing for approximately 8 seconds and then stops firing. . . It's a strange sound a candle was making while lit. I've pushed three burnt-off matches as a replacement for the wick, and they created such a shape of flame, that was "pumping" creating a strange buzzing sound. Recorded with a zoom h2.

Created in bitwig out of sampling and layering my own library sounds to make a new gun sound, perhaps a suitable as a sniper rifle.

It's an unedited recording of me lighting some matches in a quiet room. Various echoes and other sound qualities reflect where the shooter is compared to the sound recorder. A large gas weed-torch being lit. Includes the clicking of the starter and one false-start then a few seconds of burning. Would make a good flame-thrower sound. Recorded: august 2014, with android voice recorder (mono), outdoors/backyard in the afternoon.

Here's my first field recording and first upload on here. I recorded my friend's fireplace in his apartment for a theater production through my college for which i was the sound designer and sound board operator. I used a zoom q3hd with its built-in stereo xy microphones at about a foot or so away from the fire (on the bricks directly encasing the fireplace) with some make-shift baffling around the fireplace (safe, i know). This track is an edited version, a sort of "best of".

Made in ableton live this time, it is a multilayered loop consisting of recordings of an ak47, a 30 caliber 1918, and an m60 machine gun to make a rediculous powerful sound. A very short clicky kick drum with the high end reduced is added before the initial gunshot to make it punch more, otherwise it would sound weaker. There are two mechanical bolt sounds, one covering the upper mid range, and the other covering the extreme highs. Shell ejections and two reverb tails were mixed in at the end with some simple automated panning to make it move around the stereo field. The tempo slowly decreases to simulate barrel heating. Lots of processing. The layers were eq'ed, then ran into a software amp that is gently distorting the low and mid range. Then smashed together with ott multiband upward/downward compression to bring out the details. A maximizer was used to bring up the loudness some. Enjoy.

A quick piece i made using various effects, to give the impression of a factory accident in which a fire/explosion occurs, and steam vents and opened etc. Attribution information:. I'm afraid i threw that together 7 years ago when i would have been 14 years old. I can't really remember whether i used any other sounds to make it, or if i generated it (and definitely can't remember who needs attributed if soundswere used). If you recognise any of your work in this - just give me a shout/report it; i've got no problem removing this, as i said; did it a long time ago and forgot i'd even made it. Here is the sound of a 50-caliber barrett rifle being fired. You'll first hear the sound of the bolt being pulled back. Really cool sound if you can listen on some nice big speakers. Recorded with my handy zoom h4n using a rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone. I was standing about 20 feet from the rifle, and i still have the input gain turned way down to about 30, just to make sure the circuitry was not overloaded. Also, since this was in a big, wide-open field, you get a nice echo.
